Mustang oil specs for reference: The 2015 Ford Mustang oil type is a full synthetic. For the 2.3L 4 cylinder engine, the viscosity is SAE 5W-30 and the oil capacity is 5.7 quarts. Both the 3.7L V6 engine and the 5.0L V8 engine call for SAE 5W-20, with capacities of 6 quarts and 8 quarts, respectively. The big 5.2L V8 engine requires SAE 5W-50 and has a fill capacity of 10 quarts.
