Air exiting the compressor side of the turbocharger is hot, and not in a good way. So it's routed through the intercooler, essentially a big radiator, to cool off before it goes into the engine. Cooler air is denser, and denser air makes more power because there's more of it per cubic inch. So why strangle your engine with restrictive plumbing back and forth to the intercooler. MBRP has applied its industry-leading mandrel-bending constant-diameter technology to lightweight aluminum tubing, and then polished it until it gleams.
